Summary
13 rounds in a 45. That is amazing. Shots great, and very
accurate with the 5 inch barrel. Fantastic price and fantastic fun. Beats the Glock
hands down in my opinion.
Performance
Outperforms the Glock in every aspect.
Basically it just feels better in your hand then a
Glock. Recoil is minimal. Grouping is great.

Super accurate with very low recoil for a 45, feeds almost every
brand of ammo with ease. Polymer frame is also very light.

Three separate safety's so you don't have to worry about accidental fire, gun looks good, has a good feel in the hand, also great gun for the money especially with all the extra goodies they throw in. My new favorite handgun!

Summary
The XD has gone from being under the radar to a big player. I was
initially going to buy a Para-Ordnance p-14, until I did some research on this. I am so glad I saved myself around $500, for the same capacity gun(13rds).
Performance
Shoots nice for a .45ACP. Recoil is not bad
at all. Points well to the target. Fairly accurate. I am no marksman by any standard but I was pleased with it. I used Wolf, Remington JHP, and Winchester target rounds that I got from
Wal-Mart.

Love the grip safety. It is a little heavier
than I thought, but that weight helps when I shoot. I love the cocked and chamber indicators on this gun, it makes me feel
a lot more secure to know the status at just a glance. This will make a great first gun for a novice. I will be getting one in 9mm soon.

Summary
Great pistol. I replaced the trigger group with a Springer Precision set and it is leaps and bounds better.
Performance
I replaced the barrel as well, put a ported, extended barrel on it, not only does it look cool, but it is much easier to shoot.
I had Mile High Armory do a stipple job and grip reduction on the pistol as well. Much better with the 360 degree texture on the grip. With upgraded sights (adjustable fiber optic) this is a force to be
reckoned with in our shooting tournaments.
Only bad thing I can say about this pistol is the look... man this is an ugly pistol. :)
